Johansson requested 10,643 kroner in mileage compensation even though he flew instead of taking the car to Piteå.
– Flying is not free. I had to go home because we had KS and KF, or had to and had to, anyway I did. We drove there and then I flew home, he said when PT looked at the travel bill.
Now the municipality is notified
Now comes the next turn in the case. Before the newspaper got hold of the group leader, they were in contact with the municipality – which warned Johansson that PT would review his travel bills.
Piteå municipality is now reported to the Ombudsman for Justice (JO).
“I believe that the municipal management and the administration of the municipal manager have acted grossly incorrectly by warning an elected politician that the media has requested information about him. It is not the task of the municipal management,” the report states.
