(Finance) – Rome was the setting for the “Graduation Ceremony” of the 3rd edition of the project Powercoders ItalyL’computer programming academy for refugees and NEETwhich since 2019 has been offering intensive courses and placement opportunities in Italy in companies operating in the IT sector.
The event was held today, Wednesday 21 December at theEnel Auditoriumin Via Mantova 24 in Rome, in the presence of 25 students and the virtuous partnership network in support of the project involving the Reale Foundation, the Italian Accenture Foundation, Enel Group in collaboration with UNHCR – the UN Agency for Refugees in Italy.

There ceremony it was an opportunity to reaffirm the centrality of training in support of an effective process of social and work inclusion. The 2022 class of Powercoders Italy has successfully completed the remote intensive course and is ready to face the challenges of the technology sector in search of new skills, indispensable for the future of innovation in our country and fundamental for the creation of a true process of social inclusion in able to aim, more and more, towards sustainable progress by increasing the level of impact.
The 25 students of different nationalities – including Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Syria, Ukraine, Liberia, Cameroon, India, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Bhutan and Italy – are aged between 21 and 40 and bring with them a background of important studies; they are motivated and ready to make a breakthrough own professional future and personal.
