The current season has been tough for Stina Nilsson who really had to struggle during his third season in biathlon. Many had high expectations for the 29-year-old ahead of the season, including herself, but that has not been the case for her at all.
Nilsson’s season
Neither the shooting nor the skating has worked particularly well for Nilsson, who was far from the top tier during the World Cup weekends. The Swede’s best result so far has been a modest 33rd place at the World Cup, and most recently in Annecy, France, the Swede finished last of all riders after a total of ten misses in the pursuit start.

Right now, the former Olympic and World Cup gold medalist in cross-country skiing has been given a much-needed holiday break to collect his thoughts and train for the rest of the season. Because this fall, she probably just wants to forget and move on from.

Alongside the ski tracks and the shooting range, there is no doubt that Christmas is Stina Nilsson’s absolute favorite holiday of the year, she has been very clear about that over the years. And now the Swede also comes with a most unexpected revelation, a real Christmas tip for all Swedes.

It is about the drink of life, coffee, which Stina chooses to drink in a completely different and innovative way. Because she doesn’t have regular milk in her java at all – but chocolate milk.
– I’m actually a coffee cheater, black coffee is not very good. Having chocolate milk in it gives me perfect sweetness, she admits in an interview with SportExpressen.

In addition, Nilsson also has his secret weapon with him to all competitions and trips with the sport. To get the perfect cup of coffee, the Swede always has a special and extremely important item in her suitcase.
– I have my milk frother with me so I can froth the chocolate milk, she tells the evening newspaper.
