Kristersson gives a Christmas speech – Sweden news

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The situation is very serious. And the years ahead may be the toughest economically for our country since the 90s crisis and the financial crisis, warns Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in his digital Christmas speech.

– The recovery that the whole world longed for when the pandemic subsided has been interrupted. Growth will slow down or become negative, unemployment will rise, says Kristersson, who doesn’t skimp on seriousness.

But, he claims, after eight years of political paralysis, Sweden now has a decisive government with the Moderates, the Christian Democrats and the Liberals with the support of the Sweden Democrats.

– The years of ever-weaker government power are over. We will implement a paradigm shift in Swedish politics, says the prime minister.
