Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The World Cup in Qatar is over, and now close matches await again in the Premier League when the league kicks off on Boxing Day.
Erling Haaland tops the scoring league, and will score more goals before the season is over.
The Norwegian has now told how he was inspired by Zlatan, as well as how he wants to succeed in doing what the Swede has never succeeded in doing.

During the summer of 2022, the Norwegian star striker joined Erling Haaland to the Premier League and Manchester City, after leaving Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga. And it has been an immediate success for the 22-year-old who has scored 18 goals in only 14 games. With that, he tops the shooting league.

Haaland’s tribute

Despite his young age, Haaland has already managed the feat of scoring a breathtaking 158 goals in 200 senior games, and there is no sign of the Norwegian’s goal production slowing down.

Perhaps he has a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic to thank for his achievements, as he was greatly inspired by the Swede.
– I have seen a lot of the good things he does. How he plays, his mentality of coming from nothing in Malmö, how he worked his ass off as a youngster in Malmö, says Haaland in an interview with Viaplay.

“My biggest dream”
