Scores of people are being infected by the coronavirus in China right now, and scientists have warned that a wave of infection in China could quickly develop into a tsunami.
That worries the US.

China has invested heavily in its own vaccines, but they are by all accounts less effective than others. The country is also lagging behind in vaccination for the most vulnerable.
“It is important that all countries focus on getting people vaccinated and making both tests and care easily accessible,” says Ned Price.
