If you’re in the electric vehicles or smartphone news cycle, you probably can’t miss the Sony-Honda joint venture that aims to deliver a smart Electric vehicle in the very near future. Now Sony has released a short YouTube teaser that will give us an idea of how far the two companies have come at CES 2023.
Although the joint venture was formally established in the spring of this year, the two firms have been working on the project for some time. It was just the formality of announcing the Sony Honda Mobility name.
The trailers themselves show nothing but small parts of the car, suggesting that we will see a real vehicle on stage during CES 2023 held on January 4, 2023, in Las Vegas.
Earlier rumorsHe suggests that Sony will focus on infotainment and entertainment systems inside the car, including the ability to watch movies and play PS5 games, while Honda will use its years of expertise in car construction. In fact, upcoming electric cars will be serviced by Honda dealers.
However, the first Sony Honda car is scheduled to hit the roads in 2026 and the first market is expected to be Japan.
