There are always events in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. From December 16, 2021 to January 04, 2023, the annual New Year’s festival awaits you. MeinMMO tells you all the details about this year’s event and how you can effectively get your rewards.
When is the New Year festival? It starts on December 15th at 16:00 CET and runs until Tuesday 03 January at 16:00 CET.
What is the New Year festival? This is the end of the old and ring in the new year event in ESO. It’s one of those events that also gives a 100% experience bonus. So if you still have unfinished characters, then you should take advantage of the XP bonus. The experience bonus can also be combined with potions and scrolls.
How does XP farming work? You can read more about this in our guide on how to get super-a lot of experience (XP) in a short time. Experienced.
Here’s how you can take part in the New Year celebrations
Travel to Eastmarch and visit New Year’s Herald Breda’s event tent. There you can either travel as usual via the wayshrine or with the help of a portal, which you can find at every event tent of the impresaria in several areas.
You can then get your daily quests from Breda. You can accept a total of nine quests from her per day. There is an additional quest from Petronius Galenus, who you can also find in the event tent.
Alternatively, you can simply purchase the free starter quest “The New Year’s Festival” in the crown shop, which will conveniently take you to the right place using the quest marker. After completing this quest, you will unlock the ten other event quests.
These rewards are available at the New Year Festival
Look forward to the well-known rewards from the New Year festival gifts:
New Year Festival special rewards at a glance
You’ll also receive other smaller rewards from the normal Plunder Skulls:
This way you can still get as many rewards as possible until the end of the event
12 charity writs for the event spawn
For completing 12 charity writs, you can unlock the special Crystal Frost appearance.
Do as many New Year Event daily quests as possible
So that you can still get as many rewards as possible, you must ideally complete all daily quests at Breda and the additional quest at Petronius Galenus. You can also do the same quests with all other characters on the same day. But don’t expect any variety.
Nevertheless, some quests are worth playing again and can also be completed quickly. In addition, there are also the appropriate achievements for the event that you can unlock. You have to carry out some actions at other places or make special preparations.
Complete the New Year’s quests with your friends
The quests are simply the most fun in a group and of course you will also get useful tips from other players or you can try out the achievements together.
In addition, you can share these daily quests within your group and thus complete them in the same order and thus together.
Exchange items in your community or guild
Of course you will also get one or the other reward twice. But this is no problem. Because you can simply swap with other players. I’m sure some feel the same way.
Search the guild stores
If you really don’t have time to play until the event ends, visit the guild shops. Currently you can find many of the rewards at low prices.
10 daily quests await you at the New Year Festival
The number of different quests provides a little variety and the extra achievements make you think a little more.
How is your gathering going during the New Year Festival? Have you already dressed up in winter gear, a winter hat or a skimpy Nordic bath towel? Bredas Met should make the temperatures possible for you even in the last outfit. The Nords are sympathetic anyway.
