“I would rather not have made it so exciting”, Van der Haar looks back in Names and Back Numbers. “I saw that he lost a lot of speed and with my last jump I was able to throw him for it. I flew out of my pedals for it. If that hadn’t happened it wouldn’t have been so exciting. Fortunately it was still in my legs.”
