When it became clear that HBO Max was merging with Discovery+, it was decided that series such as “Westworld, “The Nevers”, “Raised by wolves” and “Fboy Island” would be removed from the service.
According to parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, the series will be moved to other channels in the future, most probably to so-called free ad-supported streaming television, Fast – which is financed through advertising. Examples of this are Freevee, Foku Channel and Tubi.
The move is part of a larger savings package for Warner Bros Discovery. The company has also scrapped projects such as the film “Batgirl”, even though it was completed.
