These are the 10 most psychopathic traps

You’re an adult when you can honestly look at your parents as flawed people. At least that’s what some claim. I say: Adult is who in Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) from Home Alone and Kevin – Alone in New York finally has the wild horror sadist who he really is.

Check out the trailer for Home Alone here:

Home Alone – Trailer (German) HD

A lonely child who only defends himself against two unscrupulous thieves? Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that! Lurking behind the blue eyes and the cute incomplete teeth of elementary school students the perfidious mind of a psychopath. Macauley Culkin’s character is a devil in a knit sweater. Don’t you think? We ranked his ten worst traps by cruelty.

10th Worst Traps: The Spring Blower (from: Home Alone)

20th Century Fox

Harry in unwanted plumage

It begins harmlessly: When burglar Harry (Joe Pesci) finally makes it into the McCallisters’ home after several failed attempts, a fan promptly blows a family pack of feathers in his face. The trap aims to psychologically destroy its victims. Psycho-Kevin doesn’t thirst for blood. Not yet. He plays with his victims like a cat with its prey.

9th Worst Traps: The Tarantula (from: Home Alone)

20th Century Fox

Marv being tormented by a spider

The psychic war goes straight on. Harry’s stealing buddy Marv (Daniel Stern) is already falling from a trip rope on the ground when the diabolical Dreikäsehoch puts a hairy tarantula on his face. Slow. relish. Just to torment the poor man with his own phobias. The spider doesn’t have to be poisonous. It’s enough to think that it could be poisonous – and Kevin knows it perfectly well.

8th place of the worst traps: The airgun load in the genitals (from: Kevin – Alone at home)

20th Century Fox

The Abominable Face of Evil (plus airgun)

If you’re thinking, Fine, but the poor kid is just defending himself, you’re wrong. Even as Harry and Marv are just talking on Kevin’s doorstep, the McCallister devil child reveals his sadistic streak. Completely unprovoked, Kevin sticks an airgun through the cat flap and torpedoed Harry’s family planning with Schmackes. No weakness escapes the serial killer offspring.

7th Worst Traps: The Doorknob (from: Home Alone)

20th Century Fox

Kevin heats the doorknob

A classic for all fans with Kevin’s trauma: Harry burns his hand on the doorknob that Kevin heated with an immersion heater. Does he want to stop him? No! The trap, disturbingly, only serves to to torture the intruder with heat a bit. And, along with it, singed the McCallister family sign into his hand for him to remember forever. Kevin plans his psychopathic career. And he probably loves the smell of burned meat in the evening.

6th Worst Traps: The Nail (from: Home Alone)

20th Century Fox

Wouldn’t thumbtacks have sufficed?

While the previous traps still scratched the surface, the imaginative Dreikäsehoch is now shifting to classic torture porn. Marv rams a long nail into his foot while climbing the basement stairs, which Kevin deliberately placed there. In addition, his childish tormentor has tarred the stairs: so does the burglar has no way of freeing his pierced foot.

5th Worst Traps: Staple Gun (from: Kevin – Alone in New York)

20th Century Fox

Marv with a stapler in his nose

Kevin – Alone in New York concludes Kevin’s journey as Jigsaw’s secret role model with this trap. When Marv wants to open a door, he triggers a mechanism and is maltreated through the keyhole with a staple gun. Like in the Saw movies a cold-blooded automatic does the mutilating here, while the sick genius can lean back behind it. Marv’s terrible screams must be the purest balm for Kevin’s black soul.

4th Worst Traps: Glass Balls (from: Home Alone)

20th Century Fox

Marv enters a world of pain

Jigsaw-Kevin doesn’t even stop at the highest ornaments of Christmas: When Marv climbs through the window into the living room, he cuts his feet on the Christmas tree balls laid out there. Nothing is sacred to the blond fury. With his obvious penchant for bleeding feet, Kevin should definitely see an elementary school psychologist.

#3 Worst Traps: Gas Burners (from: Home Alone, Kevin – Alone in New York)

20th Century Fox

A gas burner turns Harry into a hothead

When Harry wants to get in through the back door, an inferno of a special kind awaits him: A gas burner attached to a cable pull burns his hair and hat off. And in this detail lies the true sadism of the trap: Kevin has hung his homemade flamethrower so high that he doesn’t kill his opponents – only disfigures them.

He does the same fun again in Kevin: Alone in New York, albeit with another brutal twist. When Harry tries to quench his burning head in a toilet bowl, it hits him with a loud bang. The reason: Kevin had filled it with highly flammable kerosene as a precaution. Ignite, traumatize, humiliate, bomb to pieces: As a budding trap killer, Kevin has found his modus operandi.

#2 Worst Traps: Electric Shock (from: Kevin – Alone in New York)

20th Century Fox

Marv, severely shocked

Electroshocks are an absolute classic that children have used to frighten each other for decades. But Kevin doesn’t just want to prank grown men, he wants to see them suffer. Only then does his spark jump over. That’s why he shocks Marv with a car battery, which literally turns him into a skeleton, while Kevin turns up the juice again. His facial expression isn’t happy, scared or worried, he just looks…interested. Like a child crushing a fly.

#1 Worst Traps: Bricks (from: Kevin – Alone in New York)

20th Century Fox

Look at that listless face. It seems to be screaming “I need something harder!”

At this point at the latest, the film doesn’t even bother to hide Kevin’s cruelty behind childish ingenuity. It is finally admitted that this is not about self-defense, but about murder. The little monster just throws bricks at Harry and Marv from 30 meters in the air. grinning.

Marv, who is already whining after the first stone, gets three more bullets in quick succession. He and buddy Harry are far too far away from Kevin to even be dangerous to him. He’s standing on the roof full of satisfaction. Like Hannibal Lecter or the Killer of Seven he’s no longer willing to hide. From now on he lives out his preferences on the open road. The blood trickles softly. Merry Christmas? Hardly likely.
