In The Elder Scrolls Online there will be the community event “Taverns and Stories” and a competition until the end of the year.
What is this event? The Taverns and Stories Community Event is a celebration of the social aspects of The Elder Scrolls Online. There is also a calendar with weekly events, community challenges, competitions, live streams with special guests and a sweepstakes. An overview of the events can be found here
Among the events were highlights such as a virtual tavern tour together with Jörg Roth (aka Alea the Modest) from the band Saltatio Mortis or a session with the US musicians Matt Heafy (lead singer of the metal bands Trivium), Cristina Scabbia ( lead singer of the metal band Lacuna Coil) and the well-known ESO bard Malukah.
Big community event with lottery
How long is it? The big event “Taverns and Stories” will continue throughout 2022, so you still have time to take part in the events and the competition. Because the participation period only ends on January 7, 2023 at 5:59 a.m. CET.
What is there to win? In addition to the happenings during the event, the developers are also holding a big sweepstakes. Inside you can win a special ESO treasure chest. This is not an in-game item, but a real treasure chest!
The box is full of a lot of goodies related to ESO and the current chapter “Legacy of the Bretons”. You will also receive a gift certificate for the official Bethesda Gear Store. You can then fill the chest with ESO merch or simply stash your private treasures in it.
How to win If you want to take part in the competition, use the link in the button here. All you have to do is register there and you will be in the pool with a lottery ticket, from which the winners will then be chosen.

If you want more tickets for increased chances of winning, you can earn up to 10 more chances to win in-game. After registering for the sweepstakes, you can turn in Event Tickets to the Impresaria in-game. Every 5 bills make a ticket.
In case you’re short on tickets, The Elder Scrolls Online New Year’s Festival begins on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10:00 GMT. It runs until Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 16:00 CET.

If you wish to participate, you must first obtain the event starter quest, “The New Life Festival”, which can be found in the in-game Crown Store. During the event you will learn a lot about the customs of Tamriel and get a lot of bills. The complete competition runs until January 7, 2023 at 05:59 CET.
