Parliament passed the bill proposing amendments to the law on assistance to Ukrainian refugees. According to the law, which includes the tightening of the financial assistance system paid to war refugees and the payment of part of the living costs in collective accommodation by refugees, each Ukrainian refugee who will stay in Poland for more than 120 days will receive 50 percent of the expenses incurred for himself, not exceeding 40 zloty (8 euros) per day. will meet it himself.
FEES INCREASED IF THEY STAY MORE THAN 180
If the residence period exceeds 180 days, Ukrainian refugees will pay 75 percent of the expenses out of their own pocket, provided that they do not exceed 60 zloty (13 euros) per day. Disabled people, children, retirees, pregnant women, those with children under the age of 12, families with 3 children and refugees in financial difficulties will be exempted from the said accommodation fee.
Again, according to the law, if the Ukrainian refugee leaves Poland, the aid given to him will be frozen, and if he stays outside the country for more than 30 days, he will lose his right of residence and the benefits he has been receiving.
