After the Lord of the Rings series, Amazon is already preparing the next fantasy hit before. Earlier this year, we reported that the streaming service had secured the rights to the God of War franchise for an adaptation. Now the series has officially gotten the green light on Amazon. There are also details about the story.
God of War series comes to Amazon from creators of The Expanse and The Wheel of Time
As The Hollywood Reporter reports, Amazon has now commissioned the production of the God of War series. The team includes The Expanse creators Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, and Wheel of Time creator Rafe Judkins screenwriters responsible for the fantasy series.
The plot of the series, like the games, revolves around Kratos, the god of war who banished from ancient Greece because of its bloody past becomes. When his wife dies, he embarks on a journey with his estranged son to scatter the ashes of the deceased from the highest peak.
As father and son’s relationship is tested, the duo must… Fight against different gods and monsters line up
