(Finance) – The board of directors of Is in the has authorized the releaseby 31 December 2023, of one or more non-convertible bonds, in the form of hybrid subordinated noteseven of a perpetual nature, for a total maximum amount of 2 billion euros. The securities will be placed exclusively with European and non-European institutional investors, also through private placements.
The BoD also has revoked the previous resolution of 16 December 2021 not yet executed, relating to the issue of one or more bonds of the same nature. The new loans, if issued, “will allow Enel to refinance the maturities of some loans hybrid bonds outstanding,” reads a note.
Finally, the board has the task of deciding has been delegated to the CEO regarding the issue of the new bonds and their respective characteristics.
