The Whale – Trailer (English) HD
Brendan Fraser makes you cry in the new The Whale trailer
The plot is based on the play of the same name by Samuel D. Hunter. In the film, Fraser plays the almost 300-pound former professor Charlie, who continues to teach online courses from home. The story of The Whale revolves around the great tragedy of the main character’s life and how Charlie tries to mend the broken relationship with his daughter Ellie (Sadie Sink).
After the surreal shocker mother! with Jennifer Lawrence, Aronofsky strikes a much more melodramatic tone in The Whale. The new trailer alone is a roller coaster ride of emotions and hints at Brendan Fraser’s big comeback.
The The Mummy star, who is following an incident of sexual assault longer retired from Hollywood, now seems to be returning to the limelight. The Oscar chances are certainly good for him.
In Germany we unfortunately have to wait a while for The Whale. Our film starts on April 27, 2023 in the cinemas.
