The three hour long epic in which Anderson the Fates of numerous people linked episodically over the course of 24 hours, you can now stream it on Amazon Prime. It will be difficult for you to get the deeply touching masterpiece out of your head.

Magnolia brings to mind the big and small wonders of life
The action of the film takes place in Los Angeles and revolves around the life stories of several people, whose paths more or less cross within a day. These include dying TV magnate Earl Partridge (Jason Robards), sex guru Frank TJ Mackey (Tom Cruise), game show host Jimmy Gator (Philip Baker Hall) with cancer, and his drug addict daughter Claudia (Melora Walters), as well as child prodigy Stanley (Jeremy Blackman).
Supported by the great cast, Anderson slowly links the individual stories into a powerful portrait of Los Angeles as a city as well melancholy shimmer like the deeply touching character traits and fates of the characters.
By juggling the ensemble and the different storylines, Magnolia never feels sluggish despite running for over three hours. Instead, the director the small wonders of life next to inexplicable incidents and unforgettable deposits. Here, between failure and redemption, there is even room for musical interludes and frogs raining down from the sky. One of the most unforgettable scenes of all time.
