In several places, the temperature has dropped to well below -20 degrees. During the night, between 19:00 on Monday evening and 07:00 on Tuesday morning, the measuring stations, including Storlien, Ljusnedal, Gäddede and Börtnan, have measured these temperatures. This is according to data from SMHI.
Storlien coldest in Södra Norrland
SMHI’s figures show that Storlien-Storvallen was the coldest in the whole of southern Norrland. Something that also continued during the Lucia morning. When SVT Nyheter Jämtland’s team passed through Storlien at 9 o’clock, the mercury was still at -29 degrees.
