Utrecht – The police in Utrecht have launched an investigation into the disturbances after Morocco’s World Cup victory over Portugal. Officers in the Lombok district were pelted with heavy fireworks, stones and cans last night. Twelve of them were hit, four were slightly injured. Four arrests have been made so far. Two suspects are still in custody. This is reported by the police this afternoon.
