50,000 healthcare workers demand a better working environment

13 trade unions and professional associations now demand that the government address the working environment in healthcare, reports TT.

In total, almost 50,000 signatures have been collected. Today, the demands for a crisis commission for care, more care places and a sustainable work environment are to be handed over to Minister of Health Acko Ankarberg Johansson.

“Our members enjoy their professions. But this goodwill must not be exploited. The new government and the new boards in the regions must gather strength for the healthcare work environment. Healthcare employees need a boost for a better work environment before it’s too late,” says the President of the Medical Association, Sofia Rydgren Stale, in a press release.

  • Three cars in collision on the E20 – man to hospital

    During the morning, three passenger cars collided on the E20 at the height of Skara.

    Sweden’s Minister of Defense Pål Jonson (M) is visiting Ukraine. On a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov in Odessa he was asked by a Brazilian journalist if Swedish Jas planes would be a good alternative for Ukraine in the war against Russia.

    – There are no imminent plans to send the Gripen to Ukraine right now, I want to be clear about that. But I think it’s a very good plan, Jonson said.
