Pre-order purchases have officially started for the new BMW X7, which entered the lists with a mild-hybrid diesel engine combination.
The new X7, one of the flagships that BMW introduced last April, attracted attention because it carried important messages from the 7 Series product range at that time. The Turkish adventure is about to begin for the model, which represents the brand’s changing design identity at the upper limits as a result of its dimensions. When we move to the engine side, the 48V hybrid system touch makes a difference. At the entry level of the family, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines are positioned. According to the shared data, there is an improvement of 50 horsepower and 70 Nm of torque in the gasoline engine. In diesel, it continues with 12 horsepower and 20 Nm extras. The scenario of X7 family being preferred as 7 people continues. At this point, it is worth noting that 41 horsepower and 70 Nm torque increase are offered as standard in the xDrive40i version, so that the engine does not lose performance, considering the extra passenger capacity. With this increase, we can see the 380 PS power and 540 Nm torque values in the base package in the technical table. On the Diesel side, whose sales have started in Turkey, the figure is 350 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque.
