The red carpet will be rolled out for guests at the Kiwanis Theater to ring in the New Year.
Glassford Productions and Chatham Honda have organized Chatham-Kent’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve. A news release promises four local rock bands, paparazzi, a red carpet grand entry, photo opportunities and a VIP lounge.
General admission tickets are $22 plus tax and VIP tickets are $49.50 plus tax.
“This is not only the New Year’s Eve event everyone should enjoy, but also the experience of a top-tier event that is affordable and accessible to everyone in the community,” organizer Chris Glassford said in the release.
“Whether you choose the VIP experience or the general admission, you’re sure to enjoy the red carpet feel.”
Bands include Trifeckta, Red Sky Cartel, Letterbomb and headlining act Courtney Wells Band.
Guests can also view a video produced by YourTV featuring 2022 highlights, messages from the sponsors and greetings from local celebrities.
The organizers are also planning to work with local charities to raise money through a silent auction.
The event will run from 6 pm to 1 am on Dec. 31. Tickets are available at www.cktickets.com.
