Santa tennis took over the town when it was time for the “Santa run” in Umeå

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

A record number of people had registered this year for the Santa run, which took off at the Town Hall Square in Umeå. After the dance warm-up, it was time for the children’s race and many crowded the starting line.

– I gasped like crazy, says 9-year-old Alexander Shaw, who was the first to cross the finish line.

According to Richard Shaw and his friend Ludvig Gode, the race was fun but there were some obstacles along the way:

– All the babies started to lie down and cry, says Richard Shaw.

– I had to go because everyone is just lying in the way, says Ludvig Gode.
