According to her, more and more care is being concentrated and that is understandable for complex care where interventions are only done a few times a year: “But about 90 percent of the care is ‘ordinary’ care. I think it is important that care is available , affordable but also – especially in the region – accessible. And I see that people have to travel further and further for basic care,” explains Van den Berg.
