Samsung Galaxy A14 5G appeared on Play Store

Samsung Galaxy A14 5Gappeared once again, this time appearing in the Google Play Console. The console has confirmed some display-related specs, but more importantly, we now have details of the Exynos 1330 chipset.

This chip (Samsung S5E8535) has two Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.4 GHz and six A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. For graphics, we see the Mali-G68 running at 950MHz. The chart below shows how this compares to something like the Exynos 1280 and Dimensity 700 used in certain 2022 A and M series phones.

Why Dimensity 700? According to Geekbench results, at least some Galaxy A14 versions will be powered by the MediaTek chip instead of Samsung’s own chip. Dimensity 700 currently Galaxy A13 5Gwhile in, A13 4G It’s using the Exynos 850.

By the way, Exynos 1330 probably Galaxy M15 5G We’ve also seen Geekbench scores from that phone and the Exynos version of the A13 5G. Both versions of the A13 5G and the M13 5G had 4GB of RAM.

Samsung also preparing a more powerful Exynos 1380. From what we’ve heard, Mali-G615 GPU based on ARM’s latest graphics architecture will be used.

Going back to the phone itself, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be quite large and feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ resolution LCD. A leaked image has revealed its design, which shows a triple camera on the back with a 50MP main camera as well as a 13MP selfie camera with a front notch. The phone will be equipped with a powerful 5,000mAh battery.

The official support page for the Galaxy A14 5G went live a few days ago, which is normally one of the last steps before the official announcement. Series A tends to get a bunch of announcements towards the end of the year, so we should see a few more launches in the coming weeks.

We haven’t heard about the 4G version of the Galaxy A14 and it may never come. The Exynos 1330 is supposed to replace the Exynos 850, so this could be Samsung saying goodbye to LTE.
