The athlete of the year is chosen on January 12 at the Sports Gala, where the past sports year is celebrated. At the gala, several other awards are also given to the sports people.
The public traditionally gets to vote for the most exciting sports moment of the year. Now there are ten sports moments with the most votes left, from which the public can choose the winner.
The most exciting sports moment voting is open until January 12. Voting will be closed during the live broadcast of the Sports Gala at around 21:00.
