The truck driver, Mats Fredlund in Kiruna was expelled from the Transport Workers’ Union due to his involvement in the Sweden Democrats.
The association believes that active membership in the SD is contrary to the association’s goal of a “community development based on the equal value of all people”.
But the district court previously concluded that the Transport Workers’ Union could not show that there was a basis for excluding Mats Fredlund. The case is now being decided by the Court of Appeal.
