Three people charged with drug offenses

Three people are facing several drug charges after a vehicle was stopped by police in Tillsonburg on Monday, Dec. 5.

Officers with the provincial police’s Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit stopped a vehicle at a Broadway Street, Tillsonburg address at just before 9 pm

Officers seized a quantity of suspected red, blue, and green colored fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and currency, said a media release.

Three people were arrested and later charged.

A 42-year-old Norfolk County woman is facing three possession for the purpose of trafficking charges –fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine. She is also charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order.

A 44-year-old Norfolk woman and a Tillsonburg woman, age 50, have both been charged with three possession for the purpose of trafficking charges — fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine.

All three are scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
