The 29-year-old man who was found dead in Boxholm in Östergötland last fall had not been the victim of a crime. The murder investigation is now closed, the Public Prosecutor’s Office announces.
“After a thorough forensic examination, it has now been shown that the man did not die because of someone else’s behavior. There is no longer any suspicion that he has been the victim of a crime,” says District Attorney Helene Gestrin in a press release.
The man was found outside after a nighttime apartment fight on October 23. Two people were arrested on suspicion of murder the same day, but released three days later.
