Support for Swedish NATO membership is increasing in Sweden. Since May, the percentage who are quite or very positive about membership has increased from 62.5 to 67.8 percent, according to Statistics Sweden.
Men are generally more NATO-positive than women. 71.3 percent of the men answer that they are quite or very positive about membership in NATO. The corresponding figure for women is 64.5 percent.
Support is greatest among L sympathizers. Of them, 89.9 percent want to join NATO. The support is clear at least among V sympathizers. 26.8 percent of them are in favor of Swedish membership in NATO.
