Sometimes we actors can really talk uselessly. In particular, we can be influenced by the comments of others. Our topic today is Bella Ramsey. Hani is the actress who played Lyanna Mormont quite successfully in Game of Thrones.
While the popular productions of the game world were coming to the cinema or TV one by one, it would not be very logical to think that the Last of Us series, which is one of our favorites, would not come. The game, which has won numerous awards since its release and both excites us and breaks our hearts, is preparing to come to TV in 2023. Interestingly enough, Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie), one of the strongest characters of the Game of Thrones series, will give life to the two main characters in the series.

When the production was first announced, many of us were quite excited. However, it got a lot of backlash. We kept saying that Pascal didn’t fit the character of Joel or Ramsey didn’t fit in Ellie. However, there was one thing we forgot, which is the difficulty of reflecting two virtual characters on the screen with real actors. For this reason, our comments were generally made to criticize in a negative way.
Of course, I can understand you too, I try to empathize. We want a production that is so important to us to be explained in the best way and to reflect the characters in the most appropriate way. But it should not be forgotten that the virtual characters and producers are doing their best to reflect this in the most accurate way.
Bella Ramsey is one of the most prominent actresses in recent years. Just because her face doesn’t look exactly like Ellie in the game doesn’t mean she can’t portray the character correctly. You have to wait and see for that. It’s easy to say “I don’t like it” from where we sit. Of course, we respect all ideas. However, if we think that the casting has already been made and that the series has started to be filmed at the same time, I am sure that everything we will say at this point will go in one ear of the production team and out the other.
There is also an expectation that Bella Ramsey will have grown up in the second season of the series. However, we do not have the slightest information about how many seasons the series will have. All we know about this subject is Neil Druckmann’s statement that “The first season of the series will cover the issues from the first game”. But that doesn’t say whether it will cover the entire game from start to finish. For this reason, we can continue to see episodes from the first game in the second season, as well as the process between the two games.
Speaking of Neil Druckmann, it is not possible for the creator of series such as Uncharted and Last of Us to take a wrong step in order to get the best result in this production. Moreover, as in Uncharted, it does not stay out of production. He is directly credited as the author. I’m sure he will advance his fiction correctly. Because only he knows what’s in his head.
Another point is that when we look at other productions that HBO has released to this day (such as Game of Thrones), we can see how big productions it has signed. Each of them has been going on and talked about for many years. Another reason to believe that he made a successful decision in his casting with Hali.
I think at this point, if we wait for the release of the series and don’t like it, then it may be to vomit all our hatred. Because we cannot go beyond ourselves again.
