Is there finally a small map for CoD Warzone 2? Map-Leak gives hope that it won’t take 6 months after all

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 does not have a small map with the popular revival mode when it is released. Fans feared that it could take over half a year for the first signs to appear. However, a supposed map leak now gives hope.

With “Rebirth Island” and the revival modes, Call of Duty: Warzone has created a popular alternative to the normal Battle Royale games:

  • The map was smaller
  • Players rejoined matches much more often and faster after dying
  • Overall, the pace was faster, the fighting distances shorter

    • At the latest with the introduction of the “Caldera” island map, many players shifted their battles to the small maps. Caldera was not well received by many – but those who wanted to continue grinding Warzone often went to Rebirth Island or the other small map Fortune’s Keep.

    With CoD: Warzone 2 this is no longer possible: On the one hand there are no small maps in Warzone 2, on the other hand the small maps are no longer in play after the re-launch of Warzone 1.

    However, a supposed leak now gives hope that there will be an alternative relatively soon. A possible Warzone map is doing the rounds.

    What is this leak? It is not entirely clear where the card came from. It is currently being discussed whether it is a fan creation and not official information. So be skeptical about the next few lines. We cannot guarantee that the map is real:

    • The leak is currently considered credible, also because an important detail matches the current Warzone map “Al Mazrah”. There you can see a small island off the coast towards the south-southwest. There is a castle on the small island – similar to the leaked map.

    However, it is currently also possible that it is a fan creation and the creator knows this outlook. So the castle was specially placed on the island.

    In the thread on the topic on Reddit, however, many users are still positive. The prospect of the timely release of a revival map for Warzone 2 suppresses doubts for some.

    What about Rebith Island? There are currently no announcements as to whether or how Rebirth Island will return to Warzone. There is also no information about the 2nd small map Fortune’s Keep.
