Apple has a large part of its phones manufactured in China, for example there is a manufacturer with 300,000 employees in Zhengzhou that makes, among other things, Apple’s latest phones.
But China’s tough line on covid lockdowns has caused major concerns and delays. In Zhengzhou, hundreds of workers protested in November against wages and working conditions, and there have also been protests against the covid policy.
