Qatar seems to have developed a taste for hosting sporting events. This as they are already announcing that they would like to hold the Olympic Games in 2036.
First Muslim country to host the Olympics
It is still unclear which date the winning host country will be presented. If Qatar wins, it will be the first Muslim country to host the Olympics.
A source explained to Reuters that Qatar is ready for such an event.
– The success so far of this World Cup puts Qatar in a strong position, they have shown that they can do this… That is proof. All the infrastructure is here; the arenas, the subway and the new airport.
