“I am happy with this plan. It includes 10 percent ‘middle rent’ and Bilt residents are given priority,” says alderman Anne Marie ‘t Hart. More importantly, the GroenLinks alderman believes that the nature around the site is largely unaffected. “Take this nursery of the deer, for example,” says ‘t Hart, pointing to a piece of forest further on. “Young deer are born there. In the old building plans, the houses were much too close, at least 8 meters away, now at 50 meters.”
