Two 18-year-olds have been detained on suspicion of attempted murder after a boy was shot in the head in an apartment in Nyköping, local media reports.
The person who was shot is very seriously injured after the incident that occurred on Tuesday. Before that, the young men test-fired the weapon out of a window, which is why they are also suspected of causing danger to others.
One of the detained teenagers confesses that the weapon used belongs to him, but both deny the charge of attempted murder.
– At present, it cannot be ruled out that it could be a dangerous shot, but it is also not possible to rule out that it was intentional, says prosecutor Fredrik Beijar to SVT Nyheter Sörmland.
