Troy Baker, one of the popular names in the game world, talked about Last of Us and the characters he wants to play in an interview he attended.

If you’re familiar with the game world, I’m sure you’ve heard of Troy Baker. Troy Baker, who gave life to many characters in the productions we played, both with his voice and with his mocap works, participated in an interview at Milan Games Week. Comments from Troy Baker about The Last of Us

Asked whether he would make the same decisions as Joel at the end of the first game, Baker gave the following answer; “When I was shooting the first game, I was at a disadvantage to Neil (Druckmann) because Neil was a father. I was acting. What he would look like if he lost his daughter was a very real possibility for him.”

“I have a son and I don’t know what I would look like if I lost him,” Baker said. “But I know that if I had the opportunity to save him, I would do anything. I would do anything to save him. People ask me why Joel did it when he could have saved the world, and my answer has always been: Joel saved, he saved his world. He just got angry with his world and all. this.”

In the same interview, he also explained that some of the elements in the game, such as Joel’s desire to be a singer and Ellie’s aspiration to be an astronaut, came from the conversations he and Ashley Johnson had with Druckman on set.

Baker also mentioned that he wants to work on a Daredevil game; “I’ve said that a lot, I’m a huge Daredevil fan. What Charlie Cox did for the show was incredible and I had the opportunity to talk to him about it. I explained to him what the Daredevil performance meant. I either want to play Matt Murdock in a play or I want to direct the play. “
