It was around 19:00 on Tuesday evening that the police received an alert that a person had been stabbed. When the police arrived at the scene, they saw two fifteen-year-old boys whom they wanted to check, but who ran away despite being told to stop.
– Then one of the colleagues fires a shot, whereupon these people can be arrested. I don’t know exactly what happened or why the colleague chose to use his service weapon, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
The incident is classified as attempted robbery and aggravated assault. The knife-injured person, a man in his 30s, has been taken to hospital and, according to the police, is not seriously injured. The two arrested have also not been injured.
A police dog was seized – suspected of blue light sabotage
When the police patrols searched the scene with search dogs, another person gave himself up to one of the police dog handlers.
– The man has appeared and started inciting the dog when it is about to carry out a search. The dog then turns towards the man who grabs the dog, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
The man, who is aged 35, has been arrested on suspicion of blue light sabotage.
– He will first be transported to the hospital because the dog bit him, says Daniel Wikdahl.
Whether the three people are connected to each other, the police do not know at the moment.
