According to the indictment, the woman was drunk and therefore had difficulty defending herself when she was led out into a wooded area in Flemingsberg by four men, Expressen reports.
There, one of the men, a 35-year-old from Sandviken, allegedly kicked the woman’s legs so that she fell to the ground. Then all the perpetrators subjected her to various abuses – and filmed the abuse.
The newspaper writes that the other suspects are from Huddinge, Vallentuna and Motala. The men are citizens of Eritrea.
The men filmed the abuse
The prosecutor Axel Frick at Södertörn’s prosecutor’s office believes that the crime is serious as the suspected perpetrators were more than one. He also believes that the men “showed particular recklessness or brutality” when they filmed the abuse.
The 40-year-old woman’s attorney Karin Rajala does not want to comment on how the woman was affected by the events. According to the indictment, the woman suffered physical injuries in the form of pain and bruises.
The prosecutor requests that all four men be deported
The 35-year-old man and one of the others, also a 35-year-old man from Huddinge, are also said to have raped another woman in an elevator at Flemingsberg station during the same day.
Then one man allegedly carried out the assault in the elevator while one of the other men stood guard outside the elevator. Axel Frick believes that this crime is also classified as serious and characterized by “special recklessness or brutality”.
– It is a matter of serious crime where I have today brought charges for two cases of rape that happened in close proximity to each other, he says to the newspaper and continues:
– I claim that the defendants have taken advantage of their numerical superiority as well as the plaintiff’s intoxication and fear.
The prosecutor requests that all four perpetrators be deported, with a ban on returning to Sweden for 15 years. The trial starts on December 5 and is expected to last at least five days.
