The organization behind the Paris Olympics announces that the tickets will be made available through a single global platform and will not be sold through other ticket resellers.
Three million tickets are available in the first sales phase with expressions of interest open until January 31, 2023, representing around 80 percent of the total number of tickets that will be sold to the public.
Half of the tickets will cost 50 euros or less, corresponding to approximately 550 Swedish kronor.
However, according to the organizers, tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies and for some specific sporting events are not available in this sales phase. They will not be released until May 2023.
According to the organizer, it concerns, among other things, the athletics 100-meter final and the finals of the same distance in swimming. The basketball final is also an event for which tickets will be released in May.
