WOOD ENERGY CHECK. The government has formalized the creation of a new aid for the French heating with wood. It will be possible to claim it from December 22.
[Mis à jour le 28 novembre 2022 à 08h47] As announced by the Minister of Public Accounts Gabriel Attal this Sunday, November 27, the French heating with wood will be able to benefit from a new aid: the wood energy check! This new scheme, the amount of which will be included between 50 and 200 euros can be claimed directly on the website of the energy check starting the December 22, 2022. To do this, all you have to do is connect to the chequeernergie.gouv.fr website, enter your teleregistrant number and your invoice. This exceptional aid will be paid subject to income conditions. Until €2,260 for a single person, and up to €4,750 for a couple with two children.
Today, 3 million of French people warm themselves with wood. With the soaring price of pellets, some households find themselves at a loss when it comes to paying the bill. This is why the government wishes to act to allow the most modest households to heat themselves properly this winter. This aid concerns both households heating with logsor some pellet (granules). The only rule: the level of income to benefit from this new exceptional aid. €2,260 for a single person, and €4,750s for a couple with two children.
The amount of the brand new wood energy check for French people heating with wood will be included between 50 euros and 200 euros depending on your level of income. To receive this cheque, your salary must be less than €2,260 for a single person, and less than €4,750 for a couple with two children.
Do you heat with pellets? The check will be 200 euros, if you are from the most modest households. If you are in the higher category, the check will be 100 euros. If you heat yourself with logs, the aid will be 100 euros for the most modest, and 50 euros for other income brackets, within the limit of the fixed ceiling.
To claim your wood energy check, all you have to do is connect to the site chequeernergie.gouv.frenter his teledeclarant number and his invoice from next December 22.
