Today the trial starts against the Kia brothers, who are suspected of gross espionage against Sweden. Peyman Kia and his younger brother Payam are suspected of having passed Swedish defense secrets to the Russian intelligence service GRU. It could be one of Sweden’s biggest spy cases ever.

TV4 News has reviewed the preliminary investigation against the brothers. Much is secret and crossed out. But it is clear that the damage to Sweden is believed to be great.
