The two commentators Chris Härenstam and Glenn Strömberg are both making their seventh World Championship.
Or is it eight?
Namely, the two profiles do not completely agree on the correct number.
The SVT commentators Chris Harenstam and Glenn Stromberg have both been with for a long time. Härenstam has commented on sports for as long as 26 years when he began his career at Eurosport in 1996. As you know, Glenn Strömberg has a long and solid football career behind him before he took the step into the commentary booth.
The duo’s seventh WC
The profiles have long commented together – and not least during the football World Cup. Both Härenstam and Strömberg are now making their seventh WC in Qatar, at least if the former of the two is to be believed.

On Twitter, Chris Härenstam has posted a picture of him and Strömberg standing in front of one of the stadiums where the World Cup is currently taking place. Along with the picture, he writes “Time for another championship. We are both doing our 7th WC. Always as much fun together.”
Strömberg’s beautiful dick
However, Glenn Strömberg does not agree on that number, and firmly claims that he participated in eight world championships.
The difference? That Strömberg was actually on the field at one of them, specifically during the World Cup in Italy in 1990. A championship we remember mainly for Sweden’s three straight 1–2 losses against Brazil, Scotland and Costa Rica.

In response to Chris Härenstam’s tweet, Glenn Strömberg jokingly replies “I have eight WCs, man. One when I played and you weren’t there (well, that WC 1–2, 1–2, 1–2)”.
Strömberg probably realizes his mistake after a while when Härenstam then replies “Do you really want us to talk about that World Cup?”, which is a championship we’d rather forget.
