Pain in the penis, the male genitalia, should never be ignored. Penis pain is incomparable to any pain in the body. Especially if every erection is starting to turn into torture, there is probably a more serious problem going on and possibly requiring medical attention.
WHAT IS PENIS FRACTURE, WHY IT CAUSES?
One of the causes of pain may be penile fracture, an injury that can occur when an erect penis is forcibly bent. The erect penis fills with blood filling the two cylinders known as the corpora cavernosa. If the full penis is suddenly bent or forcibly moved in another direction, a rupture may occur in the outer covering of one of the cylinders. Conclusion? Penile fracture. Rarely, this painful condition can cause direct trauma to the penis during sexual intercourse.
HOW IS PENIS FRACTURE DETECTED?
You may hear a sound during a penile fracture. “A penile fracture can occur when there is trauma to the erect penis,” the Cleveland Clinic explains. The health site added: “Trauma can tear the lining of one of the two cylinders in the penis responsible for erection. Penile fractures are medical emergencies and you should seek immediate help as it can lead to erectile dysfunction.”
A urologist, Dr. “Men who have had this experience report hearing a popping sound, followed by severe pain, swelling, and dark bruising on the penis,” adds Ryan Berglund. When faced with such a situation, a doctor should be seen as soon as possible.
