the game will soon be released on Steam

A few years ago, several publishers chose to turn their backs on Steam because of the high commissions demanded by Valve Software’s platform. This was particularly the case of Electronic Arts, which decided to favor its own Origin service, without forgetting Activision (Battle.net) or even Ubisoft (Uplay which later became Ubisoft Connect). But we have to believe that despite the sums claimed by Gabe Newell and his teams, the grass is not necessarily greener elsewhere: Electronic Arts ended up backtracking, just like Activision which recently marketed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II without hesitation.

As for Ubisoft, in accordance with the latest rumours, it informed our colleagues ofEurogamer that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will land on Steam on December 6th. Until now, the game was only available on Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store. Also note that it is on the same date that the ultimate scripted expansion “The Last Chapter” will be deployed. Finally, the French publisher specified that Anno 1800 and Roller Champions would make the same trip without indicating any delay for the moment.
