Unicredit in support of AIL projects

Unicredit Board of Directors on quarter postponed to May 4th

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – UniCredit strengthens the collaboration, already started for several years, with a support economic to various projects promoted by the territorial sections of theAIL (Italian Association against Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma).

The donations in support of the various initiatives carried out by the territorial sections of the AIL were made possible thanks to Carta E, a solidarity project linked to the use of ‘ethical’ credit cards. This project, entirely borne by UniCredit, foresees that 2 per thousand of the expenses incurred in the month, with one of credit cardsethics‘ issued by the Bank, will feed a specific Fund, at no cost to the cardholder, the availability of which is destined for various solidarity initiatives and projects carried out by non-profit organizations, which set themselves socially useful objectives. From 2005 to today, the Bank has supported with the Charter of Ethics Fund various projects of social utility in
response to the most urgent needs of communities with a total amount of over 32 million euros: the management of emergenciesfirst of all that healthcaresupport for disabilityinitiatives for children, women, the elderly and other realities in difficulty or in great discomfort”.
