Tom Pripp, who is acting chairman of ÖFK’s elite company, says that at lunchtime on Sunday he does not have much new to offer.
– We have done what we can from ÖFK’s side. At the moment, discussions are hopefully taking place between the investors we are hoping for. But they know we must have an answer by Sunday evening at the latest.
At 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Tom Pripp will sit down in a digital meeting with the Licensing Board. Only then does he want to comment on how much money they actually managed to raise, and whether the conditions exist for ÖFK to retain their place in the Superettan next season as well.
Successful swish campaign
During the past week, a targeted support campaign against the supporters has replenished the club’s coffers with over one million kroner. In addition, Östersund municipality has promised to buy services from ÖFK for two million kroner.
– The Swish campaign, which brought in over a million from the supporters, has been a great addition. That, together with additional additional funds, also means that the sum that the other investors share in has decreased significantly, says Tom Pripp to SVT.
But he does not want to give either thumbs up or thumbs down on how he sees ÖFK’s chances of managing the economy, but chooses to speak more clearly after the meeting with the licensing board.
