The Energy Market Inspectorate gives the green light to the electricity support proposal that Svenska kraftnät and the government put forward, but with a ceiling for large consumers, the inspectorate tells TT.
It is electricity customers in electricity areas 3 and 4, i.e. central and southern Sweden, who are proposed to receive support.
The support is calculated based on what the consumption was in the period October 2021 up to and including September this year.
The support will be paid at 79 öre per kilowatt hour (kWh) in electricity price area 4 and at 50 öre in area 3.
