USA – Wales
We were quite surprised when we saw how strong the World Cup squad the USA actually has. In fact, they have high quality in several positions. We got the opposite surprise when we dug into the World Cup squad for Wales. We don’t think Gareth Bale has the ability to lead his team to points against the USA.
This will really be a super important match for both teams. It will probably be the USA, Wales and Iran who settle for second place behind England in Group B. Therefore, a loss in the opening match between Wales and the USA could immediately extinguish a lot of hope for one of the teams.
