Netflix is ​​mucking out its programming. Before new films and series expand the streaming catalog in December, we have to say goodbye to a few things that have been available for the past few months. This time it hits one too legendary horror series: Netflix is ​​ditching the first three Saw movies.

Torture horror at Netflix: The first three Saw films will disappear in a few days

The Jigsaw Killer has been causing fear and terror in (home) cinema since 2004. Although initially hardly anyone believed in the success of the torture horror, the James Wan-directed shocker triggered a whole Wave of similarly stored films and thus shaped the horror cinema of the 2000s like only a few other contributions of the genre.

Just one year later, the first sequel, Saw II, was released and went a step further in terms of brutality. But nothing compares to the disturbing images created by 2006’s Saw III. Even the later Saw parts can do this cinematic extreme experience not reach the water.

While Netflix is ​​parting ways with the first three Saw films, the next sequel is already in the works. The special thing about Saw 10: none other than Tobin Bell returns as the Jigsaw Killer. Since Part 3 we’ve only seen it in flashbacks. The theatrical release of Saw 10 is not yet certain.
